Ah, unicorns. These seem to be a favorite among many people. Not that I can't understand it; they're steadfast and strong. Most of them are very righteous and good, as well as protective. The problem to me is how much they are ... These guys are only for people who really need something strong!
Unicorns typically appear as white horses with a single horn. The horn style varies; while the "typical" horn may be common, I have also been privy to seeing curved horns, similar to a rhinoceros, as well as spiraling horns or split horns. Some unicorns may be stocky, while others may be slender, more like a deer than a horse. Like any creature, they come in a wide variety.
White isn't the only color, though it's what's typically requested. They aren't only furred, either; unicorns may be scaled, like the Eastern kirin. Their hooves may be solid or cloven, though a unifying trait is their hooves. I wouldn't know what to think if I saw a unicorn without one!
Please contact me personally if you're interested in a unicorn. They are very strong-willed, as I've said. Sometimes overwhelmingly so. There are unicorns that may turn on you if they perceive you to be straying from their ideal of "good." Not all of them will, of course, but I prefer to have a one-on-one talk about it if you are seriously considering taking in a unicorn.
The rewards are great, but they are in no way for everyone!
